Splendors of the Hawaiian Islands Tour is the perfect mixture of planned activities and
personal space. Spend almost two weeks exploring these beautiful islands on the land,
in the sea and from the air. Experience firsthand Hawaii’s impressive history, nature and
culture as you explore Honolulu, Kauai, Kona and Maui.
Day 1
Aloha - Welcome to Hawaii! Upon arrival at Honolulu International Airport you will be
greeted with a fresh flower lei and transported to your hotel in Waikiki. Your tour
director will be available to assist with your check-in.
Day 2
Enjoy your first full day in Honolulu at leisure. Your tour director will have suggestions
including activities near the world-famous Waikiki Beach or a full-day optional outing to
the Polynesian Cultural Center on the island’s North Shore.
Day 3
This morning your sightseeing excursion features the sunken USS Arizona as well as the
Punchbowl National Cemetery with its beautiful views of Honolulu. Other sites include
Chinatown, ‘Lolani Palace and the statue of King Kamehameha the Great. You will enjoy
the afternoon to explore the island on your own. Additionally, there is an optional
sunset dinner cruise along the shores of Waikiki in the evening.
Day 4
One last day to enjoy Honolulu; your Tour Director will have suggestions to help make your
day memorable.
Day 5
Today is full of fun so make sure you are rested! Your morning will begin with a flight to
Kauai. Sightseeing highlights for today include Waimea Canyon, known as the Grand Canyon of
the Pacific, Hanapepe Valley, and Spouting Horn. Tonight you will attend a Luau feast,
considered one of Hawaii’s best… yum! After dinner, sit back and enjoy a captivating
spectacle of dancers and musicians.
Day 6
Spend today relaxing in Kauai, or if you’re feeling active, go helicopter flightseeing and
snorkeling on the Na Pali coastline.
Day 7
This morning you will depart for Hilo on the “Big Island” of Hawaii. Upon arrival at Hawaii
Volcanoes National Park you will see Kailua Crater, a volcanic wonderland of steaming fire
pits, lava tubes and fern forests. In the early evening you will arrive in Kona, the sunny
side of the “Big Island.”
Day 8
Today you are free to explore the charming and historic town of Kailua-Kona. Optional
activities include a snorkeling cruise and a helicopter ride along the Kohala coastline.
Day 9
Today is yours to explore the resort area of Kailua, situated in between Kailua Bay and the
dormant Hualalai Volcano.
Day 10
This morning, fly to Maui, the Valley Island. Upon arrival sightseeing begins with a visit
to ‘Iao Valley, nicknamed the Yosemite of the Pacific.
Day 11
Today you will experience a full day of leisure in beautiful Maui. Take advantage of the
opportunity to visit the Maui Ocean Center, a state-of-the-art aquarium and marine park that
showcases indigenous marine life.
Day 12
This morning is dictated to Haleakala National Park, the volcano known to the islanders as
the House of the Sun.
Day 13
The trip ends today with guests departing on individual schedules. Transfers to Kahului
International Airport on Maui are included.
